Interaction with other drugs

The medication can be dangerous if used together with:

• Nitrate drugs;
• “Poppers”;
• Antiretroviral medicines;
• Some antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole);
• Some antibiotics;
• Antihypertensives;
• Other PDE5 inhibitors.

Intake with caution

Contraindications

Viagra Soft is not recommended in patients with:

• An allergy to sildenafil or other ingredients of the drug;
• Heart health problems, which make excessive physical activity dangerous;
• Severe hypotension (under 90/50mmHg) or hypertension;
• Kidneys or liver dysfunction;
• Stomach ulcer;
• Heart attack or heart surgery in medical history;
• Cases of priapism in medical history.

Besides, Viagra Soft is not intended for use in women and children. It is not recommended to apply the preparation together with grapefruit and grapefruit juice as their interaction may quickly increase the concentration of sildenafil in the blood and provoke an overdose.

Side effects

Approximately every third patient experiences at least one of the Viagra Soft side effects. Most commonly reported are:

• Flushing;
• Headache;
• Nasal congestion;
• Heartburn;
• Inability to differentiate between green and blue colors;
• Back pain;
• Myalgia;
• Dizziness.

The listed symptoms are usually mild and go away as soon as the effect of the drug wears off. Severe unwanted reactions are extremely rare. They are a partial or complete vision or hearing loss, low blood pressure, priapism, symptoms of the heart attack.

Overdose

If you have taken more of Viagra Soft than you are prescribed, report to the nearest medical centre. The symptoms of overdose are the same as common adverse reactions to the preparation, yet they may appear more often and be severer.

Missed dose

This medication should be taken only when you plan to have sexual activity. You do not have to take it regularly. That’s why it is not likely that you can miss a dose.

Storage

The recommended temperature of the drug storage is 20-25°C. Keep it away from moisture and heat. Make sure the drug cannot be reached by children and pets.

Toxicity

In clinical trials, no toxic effects of sildenafil have been revealed if taken as recommended.
